COME FOR A FARM TOUR

The Dakin family has been milking cows in Manatee County, Florida since 1973.  Dairy farming in Florida is fast becoming an endangered profession with less than 150 dairies remaining in our milk deficient state.  The last three remaining dairy farms in Manatee County are owned and operated by the Dakin families.

To endure the challenges within our industry, we have added value to our farm through educational farm fun tours, the construction of a Milk Plant to bottle our own “Farm Fresh” milk and by incorporating “sustainable” farm practices.

Come “support your local farmer” and enjoy a 45 minute, to one hour most informative tour of our dairy. Watch the cows being milked, and follow the milk trail into the Milk Plant where you will see the process of pasteurization and the bottling of our own "Farm Fresh" milk. You may also take a hayride a little deeper into the farm to complete your “farm experience”. It’s a really awesome tour with top shelf tour guides.
